I am Jenny Mazurkiewicz, a pediatric occupational therapist and founder of ReImagine OT and the ReImagine Method. I help children from infancy through adolescence build more functional movement, participation, confidence, and independence. My approach brings together alignment, neuromuscular activation, sensory feedback, vision, cognition, coordination, regulation, and meaningful practice. Pediatric occupational therapy supports children in developing skills for everyday activities such as play, learning, self-care, movement, and participation at home or school. A professional considers the whole child and connects therapy activities to meaningful goals.

### How can occupational therapy support movement and coordination?

Therapy may help children build body awareness, coordination, balance, strength, and motor planning through purposeful activities. A professional adapts support to the child's abilities and helps connect movement practice with functional tasks.

Sessions often include observation, guided activities, movement practice, and opportunities for the child to work on skills in an engaging way. The approach is adjusted to support comfort, participation, and meaningful progress toward functional goals.

### Can occupational therapy help with independence?

Occupational therapy can support children as they learn to manage daily routines, interact with their environment, and take part in activities with greater confidence. Professionals may also help families understand practical ways to encourage skill development in everyday settings.
